We have designed and built an advanced industrial plant for storing ice cream mixes, engineered for the preparation, preservation, and thermal conditioning of ice cream mixtures. This plant, with a capacity of up to 70,000 liters of stored mix, is the culmination of months of design and hard work, combining quality and innovation to meet the needs of manufacturers seeking tailored solutions to ensure the highest quality levels in their products.

  • Preparation: Adding essential ingredients to characterize the ice cream flavor, such as hazelnut, pistachio, or strawberry.
  • Maturation: Allowing the mix to rest for several hours at a controlled temperature to let the ingredients blend better and improve texture.
  • Thermal Conditioning: Cooling the product to reach the ideal temperature before transferring it to the freezers.

 

Specifications of the Ice Cream Mix Maturation Plant

The plant includes 14 maturation tanks, each with a capacity of 5,000 liters, equipped with a dual internal agitator mixer for blending and a cooling jacket to chill the content during processing. Additionally, the plant features a CIP (Clean-in-Place) washing system, managed via an operator panel that handles rinsing, washing, and cleaning phases. Various pumps are included to transfer the mix to the freezers.

Our industrial plant integrates advanced technologies with essential features for daily use, such as the stainless steel walkway, which provides easy access to the tank hatches, and the mezzanine platform for conveniently adding ingredients to the ice cream mix. Naturally, the system includes an electrical panel with PLC to ensure precise control over all operational parameters, optimizing the entire production process.

 

Customization of the Industrial Ice Cream Production Plant

The client requested a customized plant to meet specific requirements for producing high-quality ice cream mixes. The plant was designed to support the production of premium artisan ice cream, in line with Italian traditions. Meticulous construction and an obsessive attention to detail, along with a superior final product quality and precise temperature control, are guaranteed by the innovative technology used.

Additionally, it is possible to add various powders and pastes to each tank, allowing the creation of different ice cream flavors. This blending is performed using our TMV701 dissolvers.
